Criminal complaint filed against Kuwaiti Abdulaziz Alhajri for insulting Atatürk
A criminal complaint was filed against Abdulaziz Alhajri, a Kuwaiti writer who made ugly posts about Turkey and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and defended a high school student detained for insulting Atatürk. The person was identified as living in Kuwait.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that a criminal complaint has been filed against Kuwaiti writer Abdulaziz Ramih, who insulted the passport of the Republic of Turkey and Atatürk. Yerlikaya said;
“It has been determined that the so-called Kuwaiti writer has made many posts publicly insulting the passport of the Republic of Turkey and the Founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The identity of the person has been identified and it has been determined that he lives in Kuwait.”
Abdulaziz Alhajri’s words on his post:
This heroic student will cover all the costs of his studies at the university of his choice in Turkey, and I will pay for a lawyer to defend him if he is prosecuted by the Kemalist extremists. If anyone knows the account, please send it to me or have him contact me.

The Kuwaiti writer, who repeatedly made unacceptable posts against Atatürk on his social media account, drew reaction. Yerlikaya’s full statement on the subject is as follows:
“Under the coordination of the Directorate General of Security’s Anti-Cyber Crimes Directorate and with the support of the Intelligence Directorate, it was determined that a Kuwaiti pseudonymous writer, Abdulaziz Ramih, made numerous posts publicly insulting the passport of the Republic of Turkey and the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. His social media posts supporting A.E.S., who was detained for insulting Atatürk, were also detected. The identity of the person was identified and it was determined that his real name is Abdulaziz E. Alhajri and that he lives in Kuwait. A criminal complaint has been filed against this person. The matter is being followed up with sensitivity.”
It was also determined that Abdulaziz E. Alhajri came to Turkey twice for hair transplantation.
