In the past days, Counter Strike: Global Offensive has been on the rise with the announcement of its new game. Now, according to the statement, Counter Strike 2 will receive NVIDIA Reflex support. Let’s take a look at the details of the news together.

Counter Strike 2 will have NVIDIA Reflex support!

NVIDIA Reflex technology is designed to reduce the lag when you see the effect of a mouse click on the monitor. CS: GO players have been waiting for the technology used in many competitive games for a long time. According to the news that emerged today, Valve is working with NVIDIA to add the Reflex feature to Counter Strike 2.

Latency is very important in competitive games. For this reason, the Reflex feature, which is used in almost all competitive games, can reduce the delay by as much as 35 percent. GeForce 900 series graphics cards and above will be able to activate Reflex technology in Counter Strike 2.

NVIDIA shared an image to highlight the improvements on latency. According to this image, the latency on the GTX 1060 drops from 26 ms on a computer equipped with an Intel Core i9-12900K and running at 1440p to 17 ms. On the same machine as the RTX 3060, the latency drops from 16ms to 11ms, and on the not-yet-announced RTX 4070 this drops from 10ms to 8ms.

Games such as Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, Destiny 2, Escape from Tarkov, Fortnite, Overwatch 2, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant all use NVIDIA Reflex technology. For this reason, this feature is very important for a competitive action game to be released today to compete under the same conditions.
