Countdown To Astronaut Alper Gezeravci’s Return To Earth
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced that the Ax-3 team, including Astronaut Alper Gezeravcı, will return to Earth at 16:22.
Alper Gezeravcı, the first Turkish astronaut, completed his historic mission.
The Dragon capsule carrying the Axiom-3 (Ax-3) crew, including Alper Gezeravcı, is expected to land in the ocean in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA, after entering the Earth’s atmosphere.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced that the crew, including Gezeravcı, will land on Earth at 16.22.
The Ax-3 crew had left the International Space Station (ISS) on February 7 at 17.20 Turkey time.
The Spacecraft Was Successfully Launched
The Dragon capsule carrying the Ax-3 crew, including Gezeravcı, was successfully launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on January 18 at 16:49 US local time (00:49 on January 19).
The Ax-3 crew, whose journey lasted about 36 hours, reached the International Space Station on January 20.
