Color Changing Band Coming to Apple Watches
Apple has patented a color-changing cord for use in smart watches. With the technology in question, users will be able to change the band color or pattern on the Apple Watch.
Apple has developed a new technology for its smart watches that will eliminate the need for users to change bands. The technology giant of Cupertino has received a patent for a cord that can change color according to the user’s request.
Apple Watch owners will be able to change the band color directly on the smart watch according to their outfit combinations or their current mood. This will be possible by using materials with electrochromic properties in the band.
Color Change by Notification
Next-generation cords will be able to change color or pattern in response to applied voltage. In addition, it will turn into a different color when notifications are received from any application. Apple also has the idea to display text messages on the lanyard.
Apple Watches can currently be customized with replaceable bands made from materials such as silicone, steel, and leather. It seems that in the future we will have the opportunity to customize the look of the smartwatch through a single band.
