In a statement made by Mossos d’Esquadra, the police agency of Spain’s Catalonia region, “Mossos d’Esquadra teams affiliated with the Historical Heritage Unit of the Criminal Investigation Unit took the money of 300,000 euros from artist Salvador Dali. The investigation has been completed.” In the statement, which started after two of his paintings were stolen at the beginning of last year and the paintings were returned to their rightful owners, it was stated that 3 people aged 50, 53 and 55 were detained in connection with the incident.
