A new statement has come about the health of the famous American actor Bruce Willis, who had to quit acting due to aphasia. The actor’s family announced in a statement that Willis was diagnosed with dementia.
Action movie star Bruce Willis, 67, received news last March that will upset his fans. Willis’ daughter reported that the famous actor took a break from acting due to aphasia, which affected his cognitive abilities. Another sad news came from the player who has been away from the eyes for a long time.

In a statement made by Willis’ family on social media, it was noted that the 67-year-old actor, whose aphasia progressed, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), and that “it is comforting to have a clear diagnosis” of the famous actor’s condition that significantly hinders his ability to communicate.
“There is no cure for the disease today. We hope that this reality may change in the coming years. We hope that as Bruce’s condition progresses, media attention can focus on shedding light on this disease, which requires much more awareness and research,” the statement said.
He Quit Acting
It was announced that the American actor quit acting in March 2022 due to aphasia.
Willis, who started acting on Broadway in the late 1970s, has starred in dozens of prominent films throughout his half-century career, such as Moonlight, Pulp Fiction and Die Hard.
“Assassin,” the latest feature film starring Bruce Willis, will hit theaters on March 31.
