Bomb materials found in car and home of teen who attempted to assassinate Trump
Bomb-making materials were found in the house and vehicle of Thomas Matthew Crooks, who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump in the US and was killed. While it was stated that Crooks’ gun may have been taken by his father, it was reported that he was not carrying an identity card at the time of the attack and his identity was confirmed by DNA testing.

Matthew Crooks, the suspect in the attempted assassination of former US President Donald Trump, had bomb-making materials found in his vehicle as well as at his home, two law enforcement officials, who asked not to be named, told the Associated Press (AP).
IDENTITY TO BE CONFIRMED BY DNA TEST
Stating that the gun Crooks used in the assassination attempt may have been bought by his father about 6 months ago, police officials said authorities are trying to find evidence of when and how Crooks acquired the weapon. Meanwhile, authorities said that the suspect Crooks was not carrying an identity card at the time of the attack and that they are using DNA and other methods to verify his identity.
