Naturally, our electricity bills can be quite high due to our reliance on such devices. Unfortunately, the recent developments regarding electricity tariffs seem to worry citizens even more.
EMRA Announced a Hike in Electricity: Here are the New Tariffs
According to the information shared by Bloomberg HT, electricity will increase by 38 percent as of July 1, 2024. With the new tariff, a residential subscriber will pay 207.23 TL per 100 kWh electricity consumption.
The statement made by EMRA on the subject is as follows;
Due to the increase in energy production costs, final electricity retail sales prices were increased by 38 percent for the residential subscriber group, 30 percent for the agricultural activities subscriber group, 38 percent for the low tier and 20 percent for the high tier of the public and private services sector subscriber group.
