Ubisoft’s open world Avatar game is almost here. As part of the company’s Summer Game Fest event, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora release date and trailer were released.
Ubisoft announced its new games as part of the Summer Game Fest it organized a while ago. Within the scope of this event, an important look was provided to the story and gameplay of the highly anticipated Avatar game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The game’s release date has also been announced.

The released cinematic trailer shows how the game’s story will fit in with the Avatar movies. It looks like both movies will be covered by the game. About two months ago, the content and gameplay of the game was leaked. We see that this information has been confirmed. In Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, our hero will be kidnapped and trained by human invaders during the events of the first movie. The hero, after the events of the end of Avatar, will be cryogenically frozen and will return 15 years later.
The game itself is an open world first-person action-adventure game where you can combine Na’vi skills and weapons with human weapons and a couple of ordinary rocket launchers. Your Na’vi instincts will work like a scanner to detect enemies and environmental features. You’ll be able to develop your character to suit your own playstyle, craft weapons and items from resources, and upgrade your own skills as you see fit. The skill tree will include upgrades to agility and other attributes based on your deep understanding of your Na’vi heritage by interacting with plants and other Na’vi.
Of course, you will also be able to bond with your own animal in the game. The trailer shows you can ride Direhorses alongside your own Ikran. You’ll be able to nurture and customize your partner when you’re not flying down waterfalls. Frontiers of Pandora will include a new western region not seen in the movies, where yet unseen Na’vi clans will be found, including a secret healer clan. Although all this sounds like Far Cry, the important thing will be the way it is presented. We see that it is used strongly in the two videos that have been published.
When is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora release date
Avatar Frontiers of Pandora launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC and Amazon Luna on December 7, 2023. The game is being developed by Massive Entertainment, the studio behind The Division franchise, and Lightstorm Entertainment, the production company of Disney and James Cameron.
