Attention Those Who Will Vote From Abroad For Turkey’s Presidential Election!
The Supreme Election Council of Turkey (YSK) announced that voting can be done in 177 representative offices in 74 countries. Votes can be cast until May 9.
Within the scope of the presidential and parliamentary elections to be held on 14 May, voting will also be carried out abroad.
Expatriates will reflect their political views to the ballot box by voting.
Will Begin April 27
The Supreme Election Board (YSK) announced that the voting procedures, which will start on April 27 for foreign voters, will be held at the representative offices and on the dates.
According to the announcement published on the page of the Supreme Election Board, foreign voters will be able to vote in 177 representative offices in 74 countries until 9 May.
Voting Hours Have Been Determined
Voting in foreign representative offices can be made between 09.00 and 21.00 local time on weekdays and weekends, within the date range announced for that representative office, and between 09.00 and 18.00 local time in cities affiliated to the consulate generals.
Foreign voters will be able to vote at any of the designated representative offices or at any customs gate where ballot boxes are set up, and there will be no need for an appointment for this process.
26 Representatives Announced in Germany
In this context, voting will be possible in 26 representative offices in Germany.
These are Berlin, Düsseldorf, Essen, Essen/Dortmund, Essen/Siegen, Frankfurt, Frankfurt/Fulda, Frankfurt/Limburg, Hamburg, Hamburg/Kiel, Hanover, Hanover/Bremen, Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe/Mannheim, Kassel, Cologne, Cologne/Aachen There will be consulate generals in Mainz, Mainz/Saarbrücken, Munich, Münster, Münster/Bielefeld, Nuremberg, Nuremberg/Regensburg, Stuttgart and Stuttgart/Ulm.
Voting will take place on April 27 at some representations in Germany, and from April 29 to May 9 in others.
