Due to coronavirus restrictions, a couple in India held their wedding in the metaverse universe.

Wanting to avoid coronavirus restrictions in India, the couple held the first wedding in the metaverse universe, with more than 3,000 guests attending the event.

The groom, who works on blockchain technology and is enthusiastic about cryptocurrencies, and the bride, an IT professional, also sent their wedding invitations as non-tradable tokens (NFT-fungible tokens) to friends and family around the world.
