Apple ID to Change to Apple Account
The Apple ID name change to Apple Account could happen as early as late 2024. It is expected to happen with the release of iOS 18 and macOS 15. As the company transitions to the new brand name, the name “Apple Account” will appear on all websites and system apps.
While it currently appears on the Apple website and in phrases such as Apple Account Balance, the use of Apple Account will replace Apple ID. Although Apple has not made any statement on the subject, it is underlined that the sources that conveyed this information are quite reliable.
