National wrestler Osman Yildirim won the gold medal by defeating his Egyptian rival Abdellatif Mohamed in the Greco-Roman style 130 kilo final match at the Mediterranean Games.
In the organization held in the city of Oran, Osman Yıldırım beat Greek Nikolaos Ntounias 9-1 and then Egyptian Abdellatif Mohamed 3-1 in the group matches and advanced to the semi-finals.
Yildirim, who beat Algerian Hichem Kouchit 8-0 in the semi-finals, became the champion by beating Egyptian Abdellatif Mohamed 5-1, which he defeated in the group match in the final.
