All Fifa Games Are Out Of Sale! And Why?
With the decision EA Sports has removed all FIFA games on sale from the past to the present. Here is the reason for the decision and details!
EA Sports has removed almost its entire catalog of FIFA games from digital stores.
On September 26th, MauroNL found that most FIFA games had been removed from all digital stores, including Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Nintendo eShop (via VGC).
This covers all games from FIFA 14 to FIFA 23. However, FIFA 22 and FIFA 23 are still available via Game Pass and EA Play, as the publisher has made them playable on Xbox Game Pass, but the games are not available for purchase.
Why EA Retired Old FIFA Games?
When you go to the official FIFA 23 website, you can see a notification that the game is now available on EA Play. On the Steam pages of the games, it says “At the request of the publisher, this game is not listed on the Steam store and will not appear in search.”
EA parted ways with FIFA in 2022, and as a result, the decision was made to discontinue the use of the FIFA name in the company’s video game series. This seems to be the reason why games with the old name will be removed from sale after the new game, EA SPORTS FC 24, is released.
