Acun Ilıcalı, owner of the Hull City football team, will buy half of the shares of the sports channel Sport1 for 30 million euros, NTV reports. The announcement was made by Highlight Communications, the previous owner of the sports channel.

According to Reuter, Acunmedya’s sports reality formats will also be broadcast on Sport1 in the future. The channel will first adapt the sports-themed reality competition Exathlon.
