In this project, it was announced that it will collaborate with Common Sense Media to encourage children to use AI safely. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated that they continue their efforts to ensure that their new projects are used responsibly in the field of youth and education.

Altman shared their vision of a world where personalized artificial intelligence models will become widespread among young people and adults in the future, and emphasized that these language models, especially for educational purposes, can contribute to knowledge acquisition processes.
Jim Steyer, CEO of Common Sense Media, stated that they aim to create AI guidance and educational materials for children, educators and parents. Steyer stated that if these efforts are successful, the possible negative effects of technology can be avoided.
Common Sense is investigating whether AI is increasing the appetite for learning among young people, whether it respects human rights and children’s rights, and whether technology is contributing to the spread of misinformation.
