Saudi Arabian model Rumy Al-Qahtani competed on behalf of her country in the “Miss Mrs Global Asia” beauty pageant in Malaysia. This was the first time Saudi Arabia participated in a beauty pageant.
For the first time this year, Saudi Arabian model Rumy Al-Qahtani represented her country in the “Miss & Mrs Global Asia” beauty pageant.
Throughout the pageant, Saudi model Al-Qahtani shared her outfits and pageant experience on her Instagram account with 870 thousand followers.
A FIRST IN SAUDI ARABIA HISTORY
The Saudi model wore a wide range of looks, from elegant dresses to sportswear and traditional Saudi attire.
“I am honored to be participating in the Miss Asia International 2024 pageant in Malaysia,” Al-Qahtani wrote in a social media post, referring to Saudi Arabia’s first participation in a beauty pageant in its history.
PARTICIPANTS AND WINNERS
Twenty-five contestants from 12 countries and territories participated in this year’s competition, including Australia, Borneo, India, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Malaysia.
The title of “Mrs. Global Asia 2024” went to Dyan Shane Mag Abo from the Philippines. Last year’s winner, Bornean model Kimi Tomas presented the crown to Mag Abo.
Singapore’s Jesseca Long was crowned Miss Global Asia 2024. She was given the crown by Miss Global Asian 2023 Gliyam Cundangan from the Philippines.
