79 illegal immigrants caught in Bodrum: 1 detention
While 79 illegal migrants were captured off the coast of Bodrum district of Muğla, 1 suspected migrant smuggler was detained.
Bodrum Coast Guard Station Command teams, who received a report that there were 4 separate rubber boats off the coast of Muğla Bodrum at different times, moved to the specified areas.
The moving rubber boats in which migrants trying to cross to Greek islands illegally were stopped and 79 illegal immigrants, including 10 children, were caught.
One suspected migrant smuggler among the migrants was also detained by the teams.
The migrants were sent to Muğla Provincial Directorate of Migration Management after the procedures, while judicial proceedings were initiated against the detained suspect.
