These applications, which allow users to match people with common features, may not actually reflect the real characters and thoughts of the people.
According to a study by GQ, 70% of men lie about their height, age and career on dating apps.

A multiple-choice survey of respondents in the UK found that 35% of men lied about their age, 28% about their career and 27% about their height. On the other hand, according to one of the most interesting statistics of the study, 21% of men in monogamous relationships still continue to use dating apps.
When asked about the importance of sex and relationships in their lives, 47% of men say they can be happy in a relationship with little or no sex.
On the other hand, 35% of men prioritize spending time with their friends and family.
