UNESCO ANNOUNCES 207 CULTURAL AREAS DAMAGED

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in its report published on October 27, announced that 207 cultural sites across Ukraine were damaged due to the war. It was stated that there are 88 religious sites, 15 museums, 76 historical buildings, 18 monuments and 10 libraries in these areas. On the other hand, the local museum in Ivankiv, Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, on February 28, just 4 days after the start of the war. As a result of the attack, 25 works of the famous Ukrainian painter Maria Pryimachenko were burned.
