1.4 Billion Dollars Export From The Electrical-Electronics Sector
The electrical-electronics sector exported 1 billion 428 million dollars in November. The sector mostly exported to England, Germany and Russia.
According to the information compiled from the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), exports of the electrical-electronics sector, which was 1 billion 267 million dollars in November last year, reached 1 billion 428 million dollars with an increase of 12.6%. In the same period of 2022.
Looking at the export distribution of the sector on the basis of countries, the highest export was made to England with 144.9 million dollars in November. The sector’s exports to the UK decreased by 24.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Germany followed England with 125.5 million dollars with an increase of 20.3 percent, Russia with 78.3 million dollars with an increase of 191.2 percent and France with 72.8 million dollars with an increase of 14.5 percent.
541.4 MILLION DOLLARS TO THE EU
The region to which the electrical-electronics sector exports the most on the basis of country groups was the European Union (EU) countries.
Exporting 541.4 million dollars to EU countries in November of 2021, the sector realized an export of 565.6 million dollars to the region with an increase of 4.5 percent in the same period of this year.
The Commonwealth of Independent States followed EU countries with an increase of 108.8 percent and exports of 214.1 million dollars. Electric-electronic exports to African countries increased by 19.2 percent in November and reached 129.6 million dollars.
Looking at the export figures of the sector on the basis of provinces, Istanbul was the province with the highest export volume in November with 759.6 million dollars.
Istanbul was followed by Manisa with 195.1 million dollars, Ankara with 89.1 million dollars and Kocaeli with 85.1 million dollars in electricity and electronics exports.
