There are some points that you need to pay attention to not only at the stage of the rental, but also when paying the rent. According to the current legal regulations in Turkey, if the rent you pay is 500 Turkish Lira or more per month, it is a legal obligation to make this payment through the bank. If you are paying the rent of the house you live in, you can choose the house rent from the money transfer section and pay your rent. At the end of the transaction, a receipt will be given by the bank, keeping this receipt will be for your benefit in case of future disputes. If your rent is less than 500 Turkish Liras per month, you do not need to make the payment via bank. In these cases, it is very useful for you to request a written and signed document confirming the receipt of the rent. If you have not specified the day the rent will be paid separately in the contract, according to the general practice, the rent should be paid within the first 3 days of the month. In addition, a legal increase in your rent may be applied upon completion and renewal of the lease term.
