Twitch Subscription Prices Increasing in More Than 30 Countries: Will Turkey Subscription Prices Increase?
Twitch’s subscription prices have gone up again. The price increase will affect 30 countries, including the US, for the first time. Here are the details!
Following February’s Twitch subscription price hikes in the UK, Canada, Australia, and Turkey, Twitch has announced that it is raising subscription costs for the first time in the US and 30 other countries to increase revenue for creators.
And, more importantly, existing subscribers will enjoy the old prices for their current subscriptions until they choose to upgrade or cancel.
How Much Will Twitch Subscription Prices Be?
Pricing prior to the price increase is not available in all countries where Twitch has made Tier 1 subscriptions more expensive. Accordingly, it seems to be limited to a few EU countries like Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
Subscribers in more than 30 other countries will face a price increase effective July 11, 2024, unless they choose to cancel their subscription before then.
With Twitch’s new price hike, the price of a tier 1 subscription in the US will increase from the previous $4.99 to $5.99 as of July 11.
However, the good news is that Twitch stated that the prices of Tier 2 and Tier 3 subscriptions or gift subscriptions will not change. No information about Twitch’s price in Turkey has emerged yet.
