Tour Boat Crashed Into Galata Bridge
The upper part of the tour boat passing under the Galata Bridge in Istanbul hit the bridge. While no one was killed or injured in the incident, the damaged boat docked at Eminönü.
Yesterday morning at around 11.00 a.m., a tour boat traveling from the Bosphorus to the Golden Horn was passing under the Galata Bridge when its awning joined the bridge. While parts of the boat fell into the sea, the boat continued its journey.
People who came to Galata Bridge for fishing pointed out that the bridge was shaking during the incident and claimed that the captain entered under the bridge by mistake.
In the incident where no one was killed or injured, the damaged boat docked at Eminönü. It is learned that Coast Guard Command filed a report on the incident.
