The Most Punctual Airports Announced: Airports from Turkey on the List!
The list of the most punctual airports published by AirHelp focuses on the airports that can operate flights in the most punctual way. Here are the details!
If you’re planning a vacation this summer, flight delays can be one of your most serious problems, especially if you’re punctual, and a new report compiles the best airports in the business.
Not all airports have the same punctuality record, and a new annual report released by AirHelp, a company that helps passengers dealing with canceled or delayed flights, addresses this very issue.
AirHelp’s ranking of 239 airports in 69 countries lists the airports with the highest percentage of on-time flights based on flights operated between May 1, 2023 and April 30, 2024. AirHelp considers a flight to be “on time” if it arrives no later than 15 minutes after the announced arrival time, and the company says it uses the “most authoritative” figures for its database, not estimates.
Most Punctual Airports
- Cape Town Airport, South Africa (86%)
- Brasília-Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek Airport, Brazil (86%)
- Panama City Tocumen, Panama (86%)
- Chubu Centrair Airport, Japan (85%)

There is also an airport from Turkey in the last, if not the first, places of the list. The airports ranked last in terms of flight punctuality by AirHelp are at 60% in terms of punctuality.
A couple of these airports are Antalya and Dalaman Airport, which actively host a lot of flights, especially during the summer season.

- Antalya Airport, Turkey (58%)
