She Killed Her Husband In His Sleep After An Argument
In Konya, a woman stabbed her husband to death while he was sleeping. The woman who reported herself by calling the police was detained.
The incident occurred at night in a house near Besihaneler in Ulus Neighborhood. According to the information gathered, S.K. and her husband Ahmet Kalkan (40), with whom there had been frequent arguments, had another argument.
Taking a knife in her hand at night, S.K., a mother of 3 children, stabbed her husband Ahmet Kalkan in the throat while his children were sleeping in the next room.
S.K. then called the police and said that she stabbed her husband. Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the address. The paramedics who came to the house determined that Ahmet Kalkan died.
Kalkan’s lifeless body was taken to Karapınar State Hospital morgue after the investigation at home, while the suspect S.K. was detained by the police and taken to the police station.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
