Sarigerme Beach

Sarigerme is one of the hidden paradise of Turkey with its nature, beaches, history.  It is certainly one of the places you need to get into your vacation route with cultural structure. Sarigerme Beach is like a holiday resort and a corner of heaven in Ortaca, located in the south of Mugla.

Sarigerme, one of the most beautiful places in the Southern Aegean and still preserving its natural beauty, also hosts our historical heritage. Sarigerme, which is among the ancient cities of Pisilis, Kaunos and Telmessos, is also the most famous and beautiful one of the blue flag beaches of the region with its own Sarigerme Beach. Sarigerme, which is a perfect holiday resort with its calm sea and pine forests spread over the mountains at its back, is like a giant children’s pool, especially for our children, with its sea water level that does not deepen even after meters. A very large part of Sarigerme Beach is allocated to its customers by large hotels, if you do not stay in one of these hotels, you do not have to worry, because there is a beach created by an association established by Ortaca Sarigerme residents, which provides the facilities provided by these hotels.

Sarigerme beach, which was created by the association by the arrangement of the beach, offers services such as shower, toilet, sunbed, cabins, buffet and umbrella. In Sarigerme, where the Ministry of Tourism has implemented this practice as a pilot region, you also need to pay an appropriate fee to use this beach.

In order to reach the area, which is closed to vehicle traffic and banned parking during the season, it is possible to reach the beach from the area used as parking with rickshaws (trailer towed by a tractor, designed for public transport) free of charge.

Transportation:                                                                    

The easiest way to reach Sarigerme is Dalaman Airport, which is located in the Dalaman district of Mugla and has the same name. You can reach Sarigerme in approximately 15-20 minutes with its distance of approximately 12 km from Dalaman Airport.

For those who prefer to reach Sarigerme by road, the distance between Muğla Sarigerme is approximately 90 km (approximately 1.5 hours), Istanbul Sarigerme approximately 835 km (approximately 11.5 hours),  Izmir Sarigerme 305 km (approximately 4 hours) and Ankara Sarigerme is 680 km. (7.5 hours on average). By bus, you can have direct transportation from many cities to Mugla center or Ortaca district. After reaching Mugla center or Ortaca, you can reach Sarigerme by city transportation.
