Samsung Tri-Fold model will be introduced in 2023
The foldable phone concept, which was first introduced by Nokia in 2008, is now produced by many companies, especially Samsung and Huawei. Wanting to bring a new breath to the foldable phone market, Samsung will introduce the model it exhibited at the CES 2023 fair to users this year.
Examining the application, the LetsGoDigital team found that Samsung is working on a double-folding phone with reverse wireless charging technology. Reverse wireless charging, which first appeared on Galaxy S series and Note series devices, allows users to use their smartphones as a powerbank.
The new model will be double-hinged and three-piece foldable, similar to several concepts showcased by Samsung Display at CES in January. It is estimated that the new model will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has one 3.2GHz Cortex-X2, three 2.8GHz Cortex-A710 and four Cortex-A510 cores.
