Attacks continued throughout the night
On the other hand, the Russian army carried out attacks with 35 missiles and 23 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in various parts of Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced on his X account that the Russian army carried out air strikes on his country. Zelenskiy invited the whole world to stand against Russian attacks.
Zelenskiy stated that the mosque and the Islamic Cultural Centre of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea were also damaged in the attacks on Kiev, and argued that the Russian army also targeted places of worship in Ukraine.
Zelenskiy said, ‘Russia has no respect for spiritual or human values and no religion or belief. They continue their campaign of destruction against the Ukrainian people, trying to destroy all our communities and even our sacred places of worship.’
They hit the children’s home
In the statement made by the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine, it was reported that the Russian army organised an airstrike on Sumi city of Ukraine at night.
In the statement, it was informed that a Children’s Social and Psychological Rehabilitation Centre and a Children’s Home in Sumi, as well as 6 apartments were targeted in the attack, ‘According to preliminary information, 18 people, including 6 children, were injured.’ The statement was used.
