Roman Abramovic’s luxury yacht ‘Eclipse’ anchored in Muğla’s Bodrum district, and the other yacht ‘My SolarIs’ anchored in Göcek.
Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich’s luxury yachts named ‘Eclipse’ and ‘My Solaris’ came to Turkey due to the sanctions imposed by European countries against Russia following Russia’s military operation against Ukraine.
‘My Solaris’, which arrived in Bodrum on March 21 last year, was first taken to Marmaris and then to Göcek and anchored after about 9 months of waiting.
‘Eclipse’, another yacht of the Russian billionaire, was brought to Bodrum from Marmaris and Göcek offshore months later.
It Is Not Known How Long He Will Stay
While the ‘Eclipse’ anchored off the coast of İçmeler continues to wait, it is not known how long it will stay in Bodrum.
The 164-meter-long, 22-meter-wide, 6-storey yacht attracts attention.
Market Capitalization 1.2 Billion Dollars
With a market value of approximately 1.2 billion dollars, ‘Eclipse’ has 3 swimming pools, private movie theaters, diving and water sports equipment and two mini submarines.
On the other hand, Bermuda Islands flagged My Solaris 139 meters long, 26 meters wide yacht has a helipad and a swimming pool.
Ukrainian Athletes Protest
On March 21, 2022, Ukrainian sailing athletes, who could not return to their country due to the war and were in Bodrum when My Solaris was going to dock at the docking pier, came to the Kumbahçe offshore in a boat and protested.
Waving Ukrainian flags, the athletes chanted “No to war”.
