New Car from Audi: A Pool of Technology!
Audi has unveiled its new electric car that looks like something out of a science fiction movie. Here are the details!
Audi is raising the bar for electric cars with the upcoming 2025 Q6 e-tron, offering a driving experience that feels more like lounging in a technology-filled living room than sitting in a traditional car.
A Seating Area Straight Out of a Science Fiction Movie
Audi’s Q6 e-tron is strategically sized to fit the automaker’s range, fitting comfortably between the smaller Q4 and larger Q8 e-tron models. This makes it an attractive option for both families and users who want a balanced mix of size and features.
The car represents Audi’s first foray into the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) and the all-new E3 electronic architecture, developed in partnership with Porsche. This gives the car a futuristic seating area that looks like something straight out of a science fiction movie.
Outside the dashboard, which Audi calls a “digital stage”, there is an 11.9-inch curved virtual cockpit for the driver and a 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen.
Self-Learning Voice Assistant
The Q6 e-tron also features Audi’s self-learning voice assistant, activated by a simple “Hey Audi”. The voice assistant learns a lot from your behavior and even adopts an avatar, making it more of a digital companion than a command system. And if you opt for the augmented reality head-up display, relevant information can also be placed on your windshield.
The PPE platform reaches beyond technology and provides practicality in many ways. With 18.6 cubic feet of trunk space and a variety of in-cabin storage options, Audi says this is not just a car, but a mobile utility room.
Moreover, Audi does all of this while maintaining sustainability, using recycled materials such as Dinamica microfiber and Elastic Melange fabric for the interior.
The Q6 e-tron, which will be unveiled in its entirety in 2024, is already turning heads as Audi’s attempt to redefine what an electric SUV can be. Designed for the modern tech-savvy consumer, the car promises an experience that is both sophisticated and functional.
