Netflix Says It Is Developing More Than 80 Games

At the meeting where financial reports were discussed, Netflix touched on its work in the gaming business and said that there are more than 80 games in development as of now. Describing games as a powerful tool for communicating with fans, the company will release games inspired by popular TV series and movies, just like in the past.

Netflix Games

As it is known, Netflix entered the gaming industry three years ago. In this context, Netflix co-CEO and president Greg Peters said he was pleased with the company’s progress in this area. Peters made exactly the following statements on the subject;

We set ourselves some pretty aggressive engagement growth targets, and we’ve met them, and in many cases exceeded them.

It’s worth noting that Netflix is working on a multiplayer game inspired by Squid Game, which made a big splash with its first season released in 2021. This production, which will be released simultaneously with the second season of the series, will feature children’s games where contestants play to survive, just like in the series.
