Nearly 72 Million Passengers Were Transported by High-Speed Trains in Turkey in 14 Years
High Speed Trains came to life in Turkey 14 years ago and the number of passengers carried so far has been announced.
With the high-speed train (YHT), which Turkey met 14 years ago, nearly 72 million passengers have been transported so far.
High-speed train first started in Turkey on March 13, 2009 with the Ankara-Eskişehir line.

First High Speed Train Expedition
The first expedition, which included President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Minister of Transport of the time, Binali Yıldırım, was completed by going from Ankara Train Station to Eskişehir Train Station.
