Manavgat Waterfall

It is 72 km from Antalya. Manavgat Waterfall, which is located 3 km north of the town of Manavgat and takes its name from this district, is formed by the fall of river waters from a cliff of 3-4 m. Although it pours from a small height, it flows with a high flow over a wide area. In addition, the largest of the sources feeding the Manavgat River, the karstic Dumanli spring, remained within the dam lake after the Oymapinar Dam was built. Around the Manavgat Waterfall, there is a picnic area available to the public and properties that operate like live fish restaurants within touristic opportunities. Transportation is carried out by local transportation.

Manavgat Waterfall, located in the north of the district center, can be visited from both sides of the Manavgat Stream. However, the main visiting place is the paid entrance parking area, which has been newly landscaped by Manavgat Municipality. In the park covered with plane trees, there are viewing terraces where you can see Manavgat Waterfall very well, restaurants, buffets, souvenir shops and toilets. When going to this parking area, you have to go up the left side of Manavgat Stream. It is made at a picnic in these regions of Manavgat Stream. If you go to the waterfall from the road on the right of the stream, there is no terrace facility in this part. You can reach Manavgat Waterfall by private car, taxi and minibuses departing from Manavgat City Center.
