Kobe Bryant’s wife, VanessaBryant, filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Police Department over photos published in the accident where her 13-year-old daughter Gianna and basketball legend husband Kobe Bryant died. The Los Angeles Police Department reached a settlement with Bryant for approximately $29,000.
“Vanessa Bryant fought for her husband and daughter. We hope that our victory in this case will prevent such an incident from happening,” Bryant’s lawyers said in a statement. It was stated that Chris Chester, who lost his wife and daughter in the same accident, will receive $ 20 million.

Bartender Victor Gutierrez, one of the witnesses during the trial, said police officer Joey Cruz showed him pictures of burned body parts two days after the fatal helicopter crash.
