Job Announcement Published: Chinese BYD Seeks Personnel in Manisa and Istanbul!

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD, started looking for staff in Turkey by publishing job adverts on social media. Here are the details of job adverts!

China-based electric vehicle manufacturer BYD had decided to invest 1 billion dollars in Turkey in recent months. The company took an important step in this direction and opened a job advertisement for the factory in Manisa and operations in Istanbul.

BYD Started Looking for Personnel in Turkey

Job vacancies for Istanbul and Manisa were published on BYD Europe’s official LinkedIn account. For the Manisa plant, applications can be made for the positions of ‘recruitment specialist, HR manager, senior consultant, occupational health and safety engineer, payroll specialist’.

For the operations in Istanbul, ‘spare parts inventory control and dealer support specialist, financial control and reporting specialist, after-sales value chain manager, sales accounting specialist and senior HR specialist/HR manager (Chinese speaking)’ positions are sought.

The agreement between BYD and the Ministry of Industry and Technology for investment in Turkey was signed in July.

Within the scope of the agreement, BYD is expected to establish an electric and rechargeable hybrid car production facility with an annual capacity of 150 thousand vehicles and an R&D centre for sustainable mobility technologies with an investment of approximately USD 1 billion in Manisa.

The facility, which is expected to employ up to 5 thousand people directly, is expected to start production by the end of 2026.
