Israeli Army Strikes Gaza Despite Ceasefire

The Israeli army announced that it launched air strikes at multiple locations in Gaza, claiming that Hamas violated the ceasefire. According to the Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson, Israel initiated a series of attacks across Gaza despite the ceasefire agreement.

Attacks on Tunnels Holding Israeli Prisoners

Israeli military sources stated that during this period, attacks were also carried out on tunnels in Gaza where Israeli prisoners are held. The attacks were reportedly in response to Hamas’ violation of the ceasefire.

21 Palestinians Killed in Attacks

Despite the ceasefire, the Israeli army’s attacks in various parts of the Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of 21 Palestinians. Hospital sources and eyewitnesses confirmed that Israeli soldiers launched attacks in some areas of the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire.

The Israeli army targeted the entrance of a cafe named “Twix” located in the western part of the Zuweyda town in the central region of the Gaza Strip. The attack, which targeted an area densely populated by civilians, resulted in the deaths of 5 Palestinians and several injuries. Surrounding the targeted area were field hospitals and tents where displaced people were staying.

Targeting Refugee Camps

In addition to the attacks in Gaza, the Israeli army targeted the surroundings of the El-Ahli Club in the Nusayrat Refugee Camp, where 2 Palestinians lost their lives. An attack on a school where displaced people were staying in tents also resulted in casualties, with 4 Palestinians killed and 13 injured.

Furthermore, Israeli forces bombed an area where Palestinian civilians were present in the camp, leading to the deaths of 3 Palestinians. An evacuated house in the Bureyc Refugee Camp was also targeted by the Israeli army.
