Hotels in Palandoken Ski Center continue March with 80 percent occupancy
In Palandöken, which guarantees its guests skiing until April with seasonal stored snow, technical snowmaking system and natural snow, snow thickness reached 135 centimeters in March.
Skiing excitement continues unabated in the center, where skiing can be done on 55 slopes ranging in length from 1 to 14 kilometers.
Adventure lovers who come to the center, which hosts visitors in 9 hotels and bungalow houses in the mountain region, enjoy skiing in sunny weather.
Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) Northeast Anatolia Regional President Nuh Şenol said, “We are happy that ski lovers, athletes and snowboarders especially prefer Erzurum. Palandöken Mountain has always been one of the best places in Turkey in terms of reliability and tourism facilities. According to our estimates, we are planning to have skiing on Palandöken Mountain until April 15. At the moment, many ski resorts in Turkey are about to close, but skiing is still going on in Palandöken with great enthusiasm and crowd.”
