First Sun Photographs Taken by China’s Kuafu-1 Published
In the corresponding statement published by the China National Space Science Center, it was reported that the Sun photos taken with Kuafu-1 were shared publicly. Here are the photos:
Launched on October 9, 2022, this solar probe was launched via a Long March 2-D rocket. By studying mass and coronal eruptions and the Sun’s magnetic fields, Kuafu-1 is helping scientists who want to learn how the Sun evolved and affects the weather of space.
Sun Photos Taken By Kuafu-1
China’s National Space Science Center said Kuafu-1 did a good job in 2 months. Operating at a distance of 720 km from Earth, this solar probe acquired a high-resolution version of the longitudinal magnetic map. The images, which gave information about how the solar flares happened, also attracted a lot of attention.
