First Statement on Wattpad’s Ban in Turkey!
Wattpad’s official Instagram account shared the following statements in Turkish:
“We are aware that there is an issue with access to Wattpad in Turkey and have confirmed that this is not a technical issue on our end.
We are reviewing the situation and options to restore access for Wattpad users in Turkey.”
The Wattpad team confirmed in a statement that the problem was not something that originated from them. Now the eyes will be on whether the company will have an objection to the decision in our country. In addition, Turkey was the first and only place in the world where Wattpad, which has more than 90 million monthly readers worldwide, was banned.
