WHAT ARE KAAN’S FEATURES?
KAAN is made of composite materials with the ability to absorb radar waves and has features such as twin-engine, low-visibility, advanced firing systems and dual-function radar.
The aircraft uses an electronic warfare system and an electro-optical 360-degree surveillance system developed by ASELSAN, and can carry a total of eight medium and long-range missiles, four inside the fuselage and four on the sides of the fuselage.
With KAAN, Turkey became one of the countries with the 5th generation fighter jet and gained strategic attack capability at supersonic speed with high air combat range.
