E-Commerce Platform Trendyol Prepares to Enter the Ukrainian Market
Popular e-commerce platform Trendyol is entering the Ukrainian market. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Svrydenko made a statement on the subject.
Trendyol, one of the most popular e-commerce platforms, is preparing to enter the Ukrainian market. Trendyol Group President Çağlayan Çetin, together with Baykar’s CEO Haluk Bayraktar, met with high representatives of the Ukrainian government in Kiev.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svrydenko and Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Alexander Kamyshin discussed the international investment plans of Baykar and Trendyol companies.
Trendyol Enters Ukrainian Market
Svrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, expressed his pleasure to meet with Trendyol Group President Çetin and Baykar CEO Bayraktar.
“I find it important that Turkish companies are preparing to invest in Ukraine without waiting for the end of the war. This interest extends beyond the high-tech sector and the defense industry, which is advancing rapidly in wartime,” Svrydenko said:
“There is great interest in export-oriented cooperation in logistics and marketplace. We discussed ways to improve our cooperation and build stronger economic ties. I believe that increased trade will bring our countries closer together.”
Trendyol plans to invest in digital and logistics infrastructure in Ukraine, and its warehouse in Poland with a stock capacity of 3 million will provide a significant advantage in its operations in the region.
