Door Of 194-passenger Plane Opened In Mid-air
An Asiana Airlines plane whose door opened as it descended to land at Daegu International Airport in South Korea made a safe landing.
According to Yonhap, the door of the Asiana Airlines plane, which took off from Jeju Island in South Korea with 194 passengers, opened.
Daegu International Airport authorities said in a statement that the incident happened as the plane was landing and that the plane landed safely at the airport.
Some Passengers Transferred To Hospitals, Man Who Opened The Door Arrested
According to the statement, no one was injured in the incident, but some passengers were referred to hospitals with panic and shortness of breath.
The door was opened by a man in his 30s, police later said in a statement.
Yonhap news agency said the man was arrested during the landing.
All 194 passengers survived the flight, which landed safely at Daegu International Airport on Friday with the door still open.
