Critical date for those who want to buy a Zero Car: Hike on the way!

The critical date is approaching for those who want to buy a car. Reliable industry sources claimed that there will be a new hike in automobiles very soon!

The mobility in the automobile market continues. As it is known, the European Union’s General Safety Regulation 2 (GSR 2) has been on the agenda recently. With this regulation, it will now be mandatory to use more standard safety features in new vehicles. Sales of vehicles that do not comply with this will not be possible.

For this reason, car companies are trying to dispose of zero vehicles that do not comply with the GSR 2 standard with many incentives such as campaigns, discounts and zero credit support. As it will be remembered, the regulation, which was first announced to enter into force on 7 July, was postponed to 31 August for models with National Type Approval produced and sold in our country by the Ministry of Industry.

According to the latest information shared by journalist Emre Özpeynirci, it seems likely that we will face new hikes in the automobile market after the expiration of the additional period given for vehicles not covered by GSR 2 and purchases made with the concern of a hike.

Currency Hike Claims for Automobiles in September

Emre Özpeynirci claimed that there will be a currency hike for cars in September. However, he underlined that industry officials said that a 5 per cent hike is inevitable next month due to the exchange rate. However, let us state that there is no official statement on the subject for the moment.

Özpeynirci, who also opened a parenthesis to the European Union’s General Safety Regulation 2 (GSR 2) standard, stated that the obligation of zero vehicles to come with more standard safety features will lead to a price increase. As we enter September, we will see what exactly will happen in the sector.
