Artificial Intelligence to Leave Voice Artists Unemployed!

D-ID has launched a new artificial intelligence tool called AI Video Translate that can produce realistic dubbing for videos. Here are the details!

With OpenAI’s launch of ChatGPT in 2022, artificial intelligence started to play a greater role in our lives. Although this technology makes human life much easier, its day-to-day developing capabilities cause question marks about the future of many professions. Finally, an artificial intelligence tool that can make realistic voice-over for videos has been announced.

D-ID Launches Artificial Intelligence Tool Capable of Lip Synchronised Dubbing

D-ID has launched AI Video Translate, a new artificial intelligence tool that can produce realistic dubbing for videos. In this way, videos can be dubbed in 30 languages, including Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Spanish and French. Moreover, artificial intelligence will be able to synchronise lip movements in videos according to the translated language.

It should be noted that there are some details here. AI Video Translate only works on videos between 10 seconds and 5 minutes long. It is also emphasised that the file size should be below 2 GB. For proper results, there should be only one person in the video and this person should face the camera.

This artificial intelligence tool, which has limited capabilities for the moment, is expected to become more comprehensive in the future. In addition, this technology is offered free of charge to D-ID subscribers. D-ID subscription varies between 56 and 1,293 dollars per year.
