Instagram Profile Song Addition Feature
Thanks to Instagram’s new feature, users will be able to add a music track to their profile. Once added, the song will be one of the prominent features of the profile until it is removed or changed by the user.
Notably, unlike the automatic playback feature on MySpace, songs on Instagram will be started and stopped manually by users. In other words, if the person visiting a profile wants to listen to the song on that profile, they will have to start the song themselves.
Adding a song is quite simple. Users who want to edit their profile will be able to select a song from Instagram’s extensive music library and add it to their profile. They will be able to personalise their profile by choosing a 30-second section from the songs in this library used in reels or posts.
