A suspect was arrested for sexual abuse of a child in Sanliurfa
Şanlıurfa Governorate announced that a foreign suspect was arrested in Bozova district for sexual abuse of a child.
In a written statement made by the Governorate, the public was informed about the course of the incident in the district.
In the statement, it was stated that a forensic case was reported from Bozova District State Hospital at around 22.15 on Monday, 14 August, and the teams were immediately dispatched to the hospital.
It was noted that the child victim M.Y. declared that he was sexually abused by the foreign suspect F.K. and an investigation was initiated immediately and the suspect was arrested.
It was stated that the support and follow-up services initiated by the relevant institutions were continued with sensitivity after the victim child, who was referred to the Child Monitoring Centre, was handed over to his family.
In the statement, it was stated that foreign suspect F.K. was arrested by the judicial authority on 15 August.
