An Earthquake With A Magnitude Of 5.6 Occurred In Iran. The Earthquake Was Also Felt In Van And Hakkari.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 occurred 7 kilometers deep in Hoy, Iran.

According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), an earth tremor with an epicenter of 5.6 magnitude was recorded in the city of Hoy in Iran’s West Azerbaijan province.

While it was determined that the earthquake was 7 kilometers deep, there were posts on social media that the tremor was also felt in Van and Hakkari.

The epicenter of the earthquake was determined to be 29 kilometers away from Başkale district of Van.
