32 Cuban Doctors in Kahramanmaras
After the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, 32 doctors, who set out from Cuba for help, started to work at Necip Fazıl City Hospital.
Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes caused great destruction in 10 provinces.
In the double earthquake in which more than 31 thousand people lost their lives, many countries extended a helping hand to Turkey.
Finally, a team of 32 doctors from Cuba came to Kahramanmaraş.
The team, which came with Cuban Ambassador to Ankara Alejandro Francisco Diaz Palacios, was transferred to Kahramanmaraş Necip Fazıl City Hospital.
”TURKEY IS OUR FRIENDLY AND BROTHER COUNTRY”
Ambassador Palacios stated that the doctors were sent on the orders of Cuban President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez and said:
“Turkey is our friendly and brotherly country. We came here on the orders of the Cuban President due to the earthquake disaster. This team, which previously served in the Pakistan earthquake, will also support Turkish earthquake victims in the health services they need. Our doctors will be here as long as they are needed.”
