20 People Sent To Court In Armed Fight In Izmir
20 people who were detained in connection with the armed fight that resulted in the death of 1 person and injury of 5 people in the restaurant opposite Izmir Courthouse were referred to the prosecutor's office.
The procedures of 20 suspects, 2 of whom are under the age of 18, who were detained within the scope of the investigation carried out by Izmir Provincial Directorate of Security Anti-Organized Crime Branch teams, have been completed. The suspects were referred to the courthouse.
On the other hand, it is stated that the treatment of 2 injured people is continuing.
WHAT HAPPENED?
After the hearing on September 25, the parties of the case held at Izmir 7th Assize Court regarding the armed fight in 2020 in which Lokman Çakar and passing motorcycle courier Serkan Kara died in Karabağlar district, came face to face at the döner restaurant opposite the courthouse in Bayraklı district.
In the armed fight that caused panic around the courthouse, 20-year-old Umut Ertek lost his life and 5 people were injured.
